This is how I remember Mark...smiling, driving his black Chevy...not a care in the world.

Peace right back at ya Mark!

Mark knew what was important.  He lived his life out loud and made so many friends along the way.  He was a great person.  I too can't see a big truck without thinking of Mark.  God must be loving his company!

Okay, this makes me very sad.  As everyone has said, Mark always had this big contagious smile that  made you smile too.  That is definitely what I will remember.

I remember you could always hear him the parking lot when that truck started.  That is a great photo and he was always smiling -- seeing it brings back memories and makes me smile while m heart is sad that he has passed.

Mark was good friends with Brad Montgomery. Brad had his orange jeep and Mark had the "monster truck".  Mark spent a lot of time in the 61st and Sheridan (NW corner), where there used to be a gas station that he would park and chat with folks. I remember driving my mom's 76' cutlass up suicide hill next to Skyline Nursing Hill one Friday night (only car to make it up the hill i think?) and Mark came over to shake my hand for joining the big boys on top of the hill. I would ride along with Brad in the orange jeep as we would follow Mark through some rough back trails next to bubbles pond (at 1:00 AM), which didn't make the neighbors who lived on trail very happy late at night.  Very sad to hear about Mark.

It's a wonder several of us didn't die in the back of Mark's truck going BACKWARDS up Suicide Hill!!!!!!!

He was such a great guy, it's really hard to believe that he's gone.

Didn't know him really well in high school, except that he was a great guy and everyone liked him.  My memory of him was that of a great dad always supporting his children.  I would see him at little dribbler basketball games, and at soccer games.  I loved it that even after he and cindy split up they were there at games together cheering for their boys.   That always impressed me that they always were such great parents and got along so well and attended the boys activities together.  God Bless you Mark: and Cindy and the boys, God be with you, today and always
